
What is life coaching?
In the bustling world we navigate daily, it's easy to lose sight of our goals and succumb to the overwhelming feeling of being stuck. Amid this chaos, the concept of life coaching emerges as a beacon of guidance, yet many remain unaware of its profound impact. Life coaching transcends the simplistic comparisons to psychology or mental health services; it embodies a journey of empowerment, transformation, and self-discovery.
Our journey
01. Understanding Your Needs
We have a discussion around 3 aspects - your relationship with yourself, your relationship with others, and your relationship with the world. We then decide together on what we will focus on - this focus can be adjusted as we go along.
02. Narrative & Self-Observation
I will present you with a narrative/metaphor relating to your ideal self, and we will work together to achieve this. Following that, I will offer you a self-observation to assist us in understanding some of your behavioral and thought patterns.
03. Follow-Up Sessions & Accountability
I am your accountability partner throughout this journey. We will use these sessions to discuss what came up in your self-observation and track the progress (mindset shifts).
04. Practices & Implementation of Tools
When you become aware of patterns and mindset shifts, we will move on to practices. A practice is a practical tool you need to implement in your daily life, for instance, noticing when you feel a certain emotionand immediately implementing a practice to interrupt old pattern.
05. Exercises to Improve Self-Observation
To further improve your self-observation and development, we will also implement exercises. An exercise is a once-off activity you need to do, for instance, watch a TED talk or read a prescribed book/article.
06. Summarisation & Future Challenges
Sessions aren't limited and can go over the allocated time. At the end, we summarise what you have learned and the skills/tools you have acquired to take on future challenges.
